Hello, internet friends! Today, I want to share with you a reliable method to root your Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime GTI9060. In the past, I had tried various methods I found online, but most of them turned out to be fake or led to downloading malicious software. However, the method I will show you today is trustworthy and has been successfully tested by me. So, let’s get started!
Downloading the Rooting Software:
To begin, you will need to download the 360 Root application. In the description below, you will find a link to download it. Simply tap on the large white square on your screen, and when prompted, select « Chrome » to complete the action. Chrome will then provide you with a download link for the necessary files. Don’t worry about any potential damage to your device; proceed with the download.
Installation and Developer Options:
Once the download is complete, tap on the file to install it. You can choose to install it from your files directly or through the notification you receive. After installation, I recommend enabling the Developer Options on your device. To do this, go to « About Device, » tap on the « Build Number » five or six times, and this will unlock the Developer Options. From there, you can explore additional settings and options, which I will cover in other videos.
Enabling Unknown Sources:
Before installing the 360 Root application, you need to enable Unknown Sources on your device. This can be done by going to your device’s settings and activating the option to allow installations from unknown sources. If you skip this step, the application will not install.
Rooting Your Device:
Once the above steps are completed, launch the 360 Root application. Please note that the application is in Chinese, but don’t worry, I will guide you through it. When you open the rooting application, you will see a page with a blue square and a white square. Remember, blue means « no » and white means « yes. » Tap on the white square to start the rooting process. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments below, and I will be happy to help.
Restarting Your Device:
After the rooting process is complete, you can restart or reboot your device. From now on, you have full access to the root menus on your Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. This means you can customize and modify your device according to your preferences. One of the advantages I appreciate is the ability to install applications directly on my phone’s SD card, which is useful if you frequently change phones and want to keep your apps and data. Additionally, you can experiment with custom ROMs and screen recorders like SCR Screen Recorder, which works well.
Verifying the Root:
To verify that your device has been successfully rooted, I recommend installing Root Checker from the Google Play Store. This app will confirm that your phone is rooted and running the latest version of the software. It’s always good to have this confirmation.
Rooting your Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime opens up a world of possibilities for customization and optimization. Remember, this method is particularly suitable for budget-friendly phones like the Grand Prime. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to leave a comment below.
